Mystery
Paul’s post-Acts Gospel
Unless we understand what happened at the end of The Acts
We will not rightly and truly understand the Bible
Or true Christianity for that matter.
A major change took place in the Bible at the end of The Acts that most Christians have never been taught.
Israel as a nation rejected Jesus Christ as their promised Messiah.
So God pronounced a major change and revealed a hidden piece of His overall plan.
God put the Jews in a big “time out” called Lo-Ammi.
Israel’s kingdom gospel was, and still is, suspended.
Hosea 1:9 Hosea 3:4 Hosea 6:2
The salvation of God was sent to the Gentiles.
John wrote his Gospel of salvation to the world.
Acts 28:28 John 3:16
Paul was given the revelation of the Body of Christ: the gospel of the dispensation of the mystery
for those chosen by God before the foundation of the world.
Eph 1:4 Eph 3:1-12 Col 1:18-29
To complete the Word of God Paul was given a second ministry.
Paul wrote a second set of seven Epistles after the Acts ended.
Col 1:25-26
Paul had two separate and distinct ministries:
One for the kingdom of heaven during The Acts called the dispensation of the grace of God
Eph 3:2
A second ministry and gospel given after The Acts for the chosen Body of Christ
Called the dispensation of the mystery (musterion).
Eph 3:9
The second gospel is separate from and much more glorious than the kingdom gospel for Israel.
There is a great dividing line at the end of The Acts.
The ministry to the Jews was suspended so the salvation of God could be offered to all men.
Acts 28:28
There is a new hope and a new calling for those chosen by God before the foundation of the world:
those called-out as the Body of Christ with Christ as the Head.
Eph 1:4 Eph 1:22-23
This is called the dispensation of the mystery
which from the beginning of the world hath been hid in God hidden from ages and generations
but now is made manifest to His saints.
Eph 3:9-12 Col 1:25-26
Paul’s second ministry was to make all men see the dispensation of the mystery.
Eph 3:9
After Paul and Timothy died, what happened to the dispensation of the mystery?
If the kingdom gospel was suspended, why is it still the center of Christian preaching today?
Why hasn’t Christendom known about the gospel of the mystery?
Why hasn’t Christendom been preaching Paul’s second gospel?
Has Christianity been preaching Israel’s gospel to Gentile believers for nearly 2000 years?
The Body of Christ is looking for Christ’s appearing in glory.
Israel is waiting for Jesus’s second coming to the earth.
Why is Christendom waiting for the return of Christ?
Col 3:4 1 The 4:16-17
It seems like there is some confusion.
Is that why there are so many Christian denominations?
Endeavor to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace.
Eph 4:3
There is one body, and one Spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling;
one Lord, one faith, one baptism one God an Father of all Who is above all, through all, and in you all.
Eph 4:4-6
For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour Who will have all men to be saved
AND !
come unto the knowledge of the truth.
1 Tim 2:3-4
Howbeit when He, the Spirit of truth is come He will guide you into all truth.
John 16:13
Jesus said “But the hour cometh and now is, when the true worshippers
shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth;
for the Father seeketh such to worship Him.
John 4:23
Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed,
rightly divide the word of truth.
2 Tim 2:15
